Our Ideal Candidate & What We’re Looking For

We’re hiring a family law attorney to join our team. You have at least 3 years of experience in working with family law cases start to finish (preparation, discovery, and trial if necessary). You are professional, driven, motivated, organized, proactive, and a natural problem-solver. You have exceptional attention to detail and value high-level client satisfaction.

• Must be available to commute to Bastrop Texas and practice in Travis, Bastrop, and contiguous Counties.
• Must have a license with the State Bar of Texas

Required Duties:

• Take ownership of family law cases from start to finish (legal documents, pleadings, briefs, preparation, discovery, etc.)
• Be involved in trial when necessary
• Provide counsel regarding family law matters (child custody, child support, divorce, etc.)
• Stay up to date with family court rules and procedures in Bastrop County and surrounding areas
• Conduct research related to family law
• You will represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents, and advise clients on legal issues.
• Advise clients on business and legal transactions
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in law
• Familiarity with various legal documents
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Equipped to handle Family Law and all deadlines
• Appear in court or meet clients in Travis County, Bastrop County, and contiguous Counties
